Quality Engineer (Process Improvement) (Guadalajara)

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality in the production area to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
• Perform failure analysis and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Address and track quality issues in real time on the production line.
• Implement process improvements using quality tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, SPC, etc.).
• Interact with engineering, production, and quality to resolve problems and prevent their recurrence.
• Monitor key quality metrics and generate executive reports.
• Support internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• More than 4 years of experience in the sector
• Solid knowledge of quality tools used in the sector
• Analytical and quantitative approach to problem-solving
• Knowledge of: FUNDAMENTAL TOOLS (PPAP, APQP), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), 5Whys, 8D, PDCA, IPCA610, Lean Manufacturing, IAT16949, FMEA.
