Job Summary:

Caterpillar is seeking a Full Stack developer to join Financial Systems Data team. In this role you will play a key role in developing secure, high-performance applications tailored for financial services, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable web applications using React.js/Next.js and Python.
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging services like Azure Functions and App Services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient and safe code delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and deliver new features.
• Ensure code quality through version control, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize performance across the full stack.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and contribute to business value.

Degree Requirement:

• Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• Advanced English-Speaking level is required.

Skills candidates must have:

Software Development

• Demonstrated full stack engineering capability, delivering modern, scalable applications across a mature technology stack, including Next.js and internal platforms such as SvelteKit or Nuxt.
• Strong backend development capability using modern frameworks to build high-performing, reliable, and data-driven services.
• Application of clean coding principles and software engineering best practices.
• Effective use of version control and Git-based development workflows.
• Adoption of AI-enabled development practices to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery outcomes.

Software Integration Engineering

• Strong Microsoft Azure capability across Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Databases, and related cloud services.
• Design, deployment, and support of cloud-based and enterprise software solutions.
• Development of cloud-native architectures.
• Use of Docker and Kubernetes to build scalable and resilient applications.
• Design of reliable, secure, and highly available software environments.

Software Development Life Cycle

• Implementation and management of CI/CD pipelines.
• Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Application of DevOps practices and cloud engineering principles.
• Continuous improvement of engineering processes and delivery frameworks.
• Adoption of modern development methodologies, tools, and operational practices.

Effective Communications

• Strong communication and collaboration capabilities.
• Effective partnership with engineering, product, and stakeholder teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Promotion of collaborative ways of working enabled by AI-driven tools and practices.
• Contribution to continuous improvement initiatives across teams and functions.

Additional Information:

• This position can be based in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.
• Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
• Sponsorship is not available for all type of visa
• International and Domestic travel up to 5% (national and international).
• This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week.
