Automation Technical Project Manager (Guadalajara)

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Automation Technical Project Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with leadership, design and engineering, Segment CTOs, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to prioritize requirements for Growth and Productivity.
• Define clear requirements to achieve goals with ROI, investment cost, scalable solutions, etc.
• Build financial models (e.g., Microsoft Excel); conduct quantitative and qualitative business, market, and competitor analysis; help identify and assess existing and new market initiatives related to Growth.
• Serve as a key spokesperson to advocate core product capabilities and potential opportunities; participate in promotion activities internally and with customers to represent industry products, solutions, and value propositions.
• Require previous Project Management experience in a complex, high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in medical device is advantageous given compliance requirements.
• Previous experience in another segment such as Automotive is desirable.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Electronics, Mechanics, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Advanced experience in a similar position in the electronics manufacturing industry.
• Advanced experience in Project Management.
• PMI Certificate (Project Management Institution).
• Knowledge in Automation‑Maintenance and Engineering.
• Evaluation, planning, and internal strategy development.
• Gap analysis expertise.
• Analysis of Tracking Systems – Integral Customer Communication.
• Advanced English for worldwide interactions.
• Financial acumen (P&L – balancing investments vs savings).
• Valid U.S. visa and passport.
• Desirable experience in industries similar to electronics (plastics, metals, food‑pharmaceutical, health reliability).
• Capacity to track deployment for savings goals.
• Influence long‑term direction and financial or operational success of the function and/or site, potentially with P&L responsibility.
• Guide long‑term projects and goals, providing direction on large/critical projects.
