Job Summary

The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of one or more manufacturing production lines across all shifts. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high‑quality production while leading and developing a high‑performing operations team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop operations staff and front‑line leaders to build a high-performance culture.
• Oversee leaders and the plant manufacturing process/daily work flow of a larger facility employees and setting standards to ensure on‑time production and quality objectives are met.
• Manage staffing, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Motivate and empower the management team to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee day‑to‑day production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity requirements are consistently achieved.
• Monitor operational performance to identify issues and execute corrective actions.
• Implement cost‑control, waste‑reduction, and continuous improvement mechanisms.
• Ensure optimal use of labor, equipment, and material resources.
• Drive a culture of safety by ensuring adherence to all regulatory, environmental, and company standards.
• Champion quality control processes and ensure all production outputs meet established specifications.
