Duties/Responsibilities: Provide leadership to the organization as a whole for department and/or personnel issuesMentor and lead individuals within the Purchasing OrganizationDefine headcount requirements; interviewing and hiring required personnel to make the NA Purchasing group a functional, value-added organization.Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function.Manages and monitors the North America procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements – annual savings, days payable improvements, etcThrough strategy review meeting, ensures Buyers maintain a supply base which provides high quality products and services at a competitive price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.Support the overall sourcing activities within the North American market in agreement with the sourcing strategies of JSS Purchasing and the pricing targets set forth by the product teams.Responsible for the preparation of the Purchasing budget within company guidelines

Education/Experience: Formal education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business or related.Work experience: more than 10 years on Purchasing.English: fluent
