Responsibilities

• Support the business by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements (NDAs, ELs, DPAs, & MSAs) across the Americas region (U.S., Mexico, Canada & South America).
• Provide pragmatic legal guidance that enables business growth while appropriately managing legal risk.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient and scalable contracting processes.
• Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of AI-enabled Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions.
• Leverage legal technology and automation tools to improve contract management and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on commercial, operational, and strategic initiatives.
• Support cross-border legal matters and contracting activities across multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop contract standards, templates, and best practices to enhance consistency and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent).
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience working with U.S.-governed contracts and/or U.S.-based companies.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract law and contracting practices.
• Prior in-house legal experience or experience with an international law firm.
• Experience with CLM platforms and legal technology solutions, including AI-enabled tools.
