Production/Quality Supervisor (Tijuana)

Overview

The Production Planning Manager is responsible for inventory management, scheduling data, tracking information, supply status, coordinating material planning activities and reporting on material issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage production planning activities
• Maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; and quality standards
• Supervise the most complex, large, or difficult production projects to produce schedules and plans, tools, equipment needed to manufacture products
• Contribute to the development of operating budgets for the production unit
• Research, evaluate, and recommend changes to production processes, systems, technology, capital, equipment, or other assets that will enhance the organization\'s production capabilities
• Liaise with functional or operational area managers to integrate their activities into production plans, cost estimates, and schedules
• Develop production planning staff to ensure that their activities meet pre-established targets

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Strong organization, planning and time-management skills to achieve results
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel)
