International Outreach & Recruitment Specialist (Hybrid) – Middle East Programs and Outreach Department supporting NYU Abu Dhabi.

Job Summary

This position develops and implements a strategic recruitment plan for NYU Abu Dhabi in the assigned geographic territory, providing subject matter expertise on admission to a wide array of stakeholders.

Essential Functions

• Develop a detailed and targeted outreach and recruitment strategy plan for NYU Abu Dhabi within the assigned geographic region in consultation with team lead and subject for approval prior to implementation.
• First actor in new initiatives and special/technical projects.
• Accountable for recruitment strategy implementation.
• Recruit and serve as direct point of contact for prospective students applying from assigned geographic regions.
• Build and maintain key contacts at partner institutions.
• Interact with high schools, counselors, heads of schools, school associations, accrediting bodies, community organizations and other external constituencies to represent NYU Abu Dhabi and IIE professionally.
• Plan and implement outreach through in‑person and virtual recruitment in collaboration with Senior Program Manager and IIE/NYUAD Outreach team.
• Track, monitor and support production and distribution of outreach materials and information.
• Ensure correct brand usage in creation of all materials.
• Maintain and report accurate metrics of each phase of the enrollment funnel.
• Support NYUAD Admissions and Counseling team for on‑site events and programming as needed.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert on educational systems within the region; advise partners on country‑specific recruitment and admissions considerations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Requires a bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of Mexican, Central and South American secondary and higher education environments, including international programs, admissions, student services and pre‑college student advising.
• Significant experience in an outreach and recruitment role.
• Mature and comfortable in a client‑centered team with ability to use diplomacy in difficult situations.
• Ability to organize and handle a large volume of work under severe time constraints and pressures.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, public speaking and presentation skills.
• Superior writing and editing skills and a thorough knowledge of the English language; Spanish preferred.
• Demonstrates creativity and ability to suggest innovative yet practical solutions to new challenges.
• Team player who can handle tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Knowledge of customer relationship management and database software.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and applicable outreach and recruitment mediums.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Experience with pre‑college/high school outreach, recruitment and/or admissions strongly preferred.

Salary and Benefits

Hiring Range: MXN 659,*******.
Salary is determined by various factors including relevant work experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, abilities, internal organizational equity and geographic region.
