All applications welcome and will be considered based on merit against the job and/or experience for the position.*## **Your role**We are looking for the a Cost Engineer for the Propulsion team.* Participate in Cost estimation and should cost for components analyzing material, manufacturing process, labor and machine rates, tooling, and other aspects of the component.* Analyze and validate supplier and buyer’s quotations by comparing internal cost models and should cost.* Evaluate cost impact of engineering changes.* Create and maintain cost tracking reports and graphs for components across multiple vehicle programs.* Collaborate cross functionally with engineering and purchasing to ensure cost alignment.## **Your profile*** Bachelor in Engineering (preferably Automotive related)* Experience in cost/technical engineering OEM or Tier 1 background* Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and cost analysis* Technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas:1. 1. 1. TRANSMISSIONS (Assembly, Casting, machining, forging, grinding, mechanics) 2. DRIVELINES (Axles, Transfer case, Assembly, Casting, machining, forging) 3.
