HCL is looking for a Service Desk JR on site with below requirements:

Job Summary

Recent graduates to join our IT Service Desk team as Fresher Support Analyst. This role is ideal for candidates with basic computer knowledge, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Prior IT Service Desk experience is not required.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support to end users via chat, voice, or email
• Log, track, and update tickets/interactions in the ITSM tool (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Understand and follow defined support processes and SLAs
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve standard user issues
• Escalate incidents or requests to the appropriate support teams when required
• Maintain clear documentation and communication with users
• Participate in training, mock sessions, and assessments before production release

Skill Requirement

• Basic understanding of computer fundamentals (Windows OS, applications, file systems, internet usage)
• Familiarity with basic IT concepts (hardware, software, login issues, password reset, connectivity basics)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and technologies
• Customer‑centric mindset with a positive attitude\rAbility to work in shift‑based operations (if required)
