Responsibilities

• Implement best‑in‑class DR replication solutions and tools for the Disaster Recovery program across Cloud, on‑premises, or hybrid hosting environments.
• Manage and improve the Disaster Recovery replication solutions according to the General DR Program & Strategy.
• Implement best‑in‑class automation and orchestration tools for the Disaster Recovery program and drive the technical DR orchestration & automation agenda.
• Coordinate interactions with infrastructure, applications, sector, and enterprise architecture teams to work on the DR replication agenda, including vendors and managed service providers.
• Support DR drills and tests using replication and orchestration tools in coordination with the DR team for cloud or on‑premises environments.
• Manage and support any new DR capabilities delivered by the CTO organization related to replication.
• Build a knowledge library around replication information that reflects our heterogeneous IT environments to improve application knowledge ownership.
• Support, coordinate, and manage all DR engineering topics across several PepsiCo sectors.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who meet the following experience and skills:

• 2+ years of experience managing Disaster Recovery replication methodologies and tools such as VMware SRM, storage replication, Zerto, Azure‑ASR, database replication (Oracle Data Guard, MS‑SQL Always‑On, Hana System Replication).
• 2+ years of experience managing Disaster Recovery orchestration methodologies and tools such as Continuity Patrol and Hyper Automation.
• Proven expertise and strong skills with IT services technologies, including servers and platforms (Linux, Windows, HPUX, AIX), virtualization (VMware), storage (NAS, SAN), backups (Rubrik), and databases (Oracle, MS‑SQL, HANA, DB2).
• Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise architectures in cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
• Strong proficiency with cloud technologies, especially Azure, including ASR, HSR, and ANF.
• Strong proficiency with DR technologies to support network resiliency; knowledge of WAN, LAN, IP, VLANs, bandwidth and traffic, security, load balancers, DNS, and firewalls.
• SNOW BCM knowledge is preferable.
• Proficiency in DR processes, including drift planning and strategy definition, DR governance, and end‑to‑end execution.
