Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain customizations within Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), including entities, forms, views, and model-driven apps

• Develop plugins (C# / .NET) across the execution pipeline (pre-validation, pre-operation, post-operation stages)

• Implement client-side scripting (JavaScript / TypeScript) for form behavior, validation, and business logic

• Build and maintain Custom APIs and reusable business logic components

• Configure and maintain the CE security model (security roles, teams, business units, field-level security)

• Support solution packaging, versioning, and managed solution deployment across environments

• Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations across internal and external systems (D365 F&O, D365 CE, Icertis, Sapience HCM, SAP Concur, Workday Adaptive Planning)

• Implement API-first solutions using REST, OData, and event-driven patterns

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, including root-cause analysis and permanent remediation

• Ensure secure data exchange through appropriate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms

• Handle integration failures, retries, dead-letter handling, and resilience patterns

• Contribute to integration architecture standards, naming conventions, and reusable frameworks

• Build and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT) across Fabric and Dataverse

• Develop and optimize data models, including relationships, calculated/rollup fields, and indexing strategy

• Perform data validation and reconciliation checks between source and target systems

• Support monitoring of data flows, pipeline failures, and timely issue resolution

• Maintain data lineage documentation to support governance and audit requirements

• Develop dashboards and reports aligned with stakeholder and business KPI requirements

• Build semantic models and DAX calculations to support self-service and embedded analytics

• Optimize report performance, query folding, and dataset refresh strategies

• Enable self-service analytics where appropriate, with adequate governance guardrails

• Validate data accuracy with business stakeholders prior to publication

• Ensure alignment between the data platform layer and the reporting layer (single source of truth)

• Develop and maintain integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus / Event Grid

• Support synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns and orchestrated workflows

• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize deployed Azure services for cost and performance

• Apply secure configuration practices (managed identities, Key Vault, network restrictions) to Azure resources

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for D365 CE solutions, Azure resources, and integration artifacts

• Support deployment processes across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod) with controlled promotion gates

• Maintain version control, branching strategy, and traceability between requirements, code, and releases

• Automate deployment and testing processes to reduce manual effort and deployment risk

• Promote infrastructure-as-code and reusable deployment templates

• Investigate and resolve technical issues across integrated systems within defined SLAs

• Perform debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis for production incidents

• Support production environments, on-call rotations (as applicable), and incident resolution

• Maintain an issue log and contribute to post-incident reviews and preventive action plans

• Execute technical testing of integrations, data flows, and CE customizations (unit, integration, regression)

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, including technical validation and defect triage

• Ensure defect resolution and adherence to solution quality standards prior to release

• Maintain test case documentation and evidence of test execution for audit purposes

• Identify and implement performance improvements in queries, data models, pipelines, and integration patterns

• Support cost optimization initiatives across Azure, Fabric, and Power Platform (capacity planning, license utilization)

• Periodically review platform usage and recommend rationalization where appropriate

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, and data dictionaries

• Document development standards, coding conventions, and reusable component libraries

Requirements

Requirements:

• Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE / CRM) and Dataverse, including:

◦ Data modeling (tables, relationships, field types)

◦ Forms, views, and model-driven apps

◦ Security model (roles, teams, business units, field-level security)

• Development experience in:

◦ Plugins (C# / .NET) and the execution pipeline (pre/post stages)

◦ Client-side scripting (JavaScript / TypeScript) for form customization

◦ Custom APIs and reusable business logic

Data & Integration Technologies

• Hands-on experience with:

◦ Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus / Event Grid)

◦ Dataverse / Microsoft Fabric (data layer interaction)

• Strong knowledge of:

◦ APIs and integrations (REST, OData, JSON)

◦ Integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous, event-driven)

◦ Data integration processes (ETL/ELT)

◦ Data validation, reconciliation, and error handling

◦ SQL Server and advanced querying

Power Platform & Analytics

• Strong experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:

◦ Power Automate (flows, expressions, error handling)

◦ Model-driven apps

• Reporting and dashboarding:

◦ Native D365 CE dashboarding

◦ Data modeling and semantic models (Power BI)

◦ Report performance optimization DevOps & Application Lifecycle Management

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and environment deployments (Azure DevOps or equivalent)

• Understanding of solution lifecycle management (managed/unmanaged solutions, environment strategy)

• Version control and release management practices

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in systems integration, enterprise application development, or a closely related discipline

• Demonstrated track record delivering integration or D365 CE projects in a production enterprise environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical documentation
