Senior CNC Programmer

We are seeking a Senior CNC Programmer with extensive experience in CNC machining processes and advanced CNC programming . This position is responsible for developing, validating, and optimizing CNC programs for complex aerospace components on DMG 5-axis and Campro 4/3-axis machining centers . The ideal candidate will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, and Machine Operators to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable machining processes while driving continuous improvements in productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, verify, and release CNC machining programs for DMG 5-axis and Campro 4/3-axis machines.
• Define machining strategies based on engineering drawings, 3D models, GD&T requirements, and material specifications.
• Support prove-outs, first article runs, and troubleshooting of machining issues related to dimensional accuracy, surface finish, tooling, and process stability.
• Optimize tooling, cutting parameters, fixturing, and machining methods to improve cycle times, yield, and overall efficiency.
• Collaborate with operators and cross-functional teams to ensure program effectiveness and manufacturability.
• Support NPI and DFM activities by providing machining feasibility and process improvement recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience in CNC programming for machining operations (mandatory).
• Proven ability to independently program, validate, and optimize complex machined components.
• Strong knowledge of 5-axis machining on DMG equipment and multi-axis machining best practices.
• Experience with Campro 4/3-axis machining centers , setup processes, and shop-floor support.
• Advanced ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and critical quality requirements.
• Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and process optimization.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills within manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAM software
• Experience machining aerospace components and working within aerospace manufacturing environments.
