Be part of our team that values a wide range of perspectives and is committed to shaping a better world with every product we create.Location: GuadalajaraWorkplace type: HybridIngredion is seeking a creative and motivated Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Intern to support impactful internal communications and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen our culture and keep employees connected and informed.As an Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Intern, you will support the Human Resources team by designing, coordinating, and managing internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities that foster transparency, connection, and a positive workplace experience.This role reports to the Senior Specialist, Human Resources.What will you do:Support the development, planning, and execution of internal communications that promote employee engagement and a transparent culture.Assist with administrative support for the Human Resources team, contributing to daily operations and ongoing projects.Maintain and update HR documentation, including local policies, procedures, internal regulations, and employee records.Help coordinate and organize employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal activities.Support the definition and use of communication channels, media, and design tools for internal projects.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure consistent and engaging communication messaging.What you will bring:Active student or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s or Associate degree.Educational background in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a creative field such as Communications or Advertising.Fluency in English (written and verbal).Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, SharePoint, MS Teams, Outlook, MS Stream).Experience or familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Photoshop.Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency, with the ability to turn ideas into action.Who you are:An effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.Creative, proactive, and eager to contribute new ideas.Able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously with attention to detail.Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude.Socially confident, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.Committed to fostering a fun, engaging, and inclusive work environment.Why Join Ingredion?Discover why Ingredion is the ideal place to advance your career with our exceptional rewards and benefits package designed to help you thrive.
