Field Account Manager

The Field Account Manager will be responsible for all sales results of mid-size and large accounts in Mexico and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base.This position is primarily focused on the Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico region.Grow with us – Your ResponsibilitiesPromote the organization's Bioprocess products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targetsIdentify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategyActively use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions and sales activities ensuring that all customer and opportunity information is up-to-date and accurately entered in the CRM systemAnalyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights and track sales performanceActively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activityAssess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services as appropriateDevelop and implement account plans and request and coordinate resources in line with the account plansWork closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an accountCoordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territoryFrequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into businessManage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnershipWhat will convince usBachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or a related field (higher level of education would be beneficial)Minimum 3 years field sales experience, with preferable laboratory / process-based experience in Life ScienceHands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM toolsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibilityGood teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teamsBilingual - English and SpanishWillingness and ability to travel frequentlyProven software skills, e.g. Microsoft OfficeIdentification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, EnjoymentSartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
