Supplier Quality Specialist
Baxter
Baxter seeks a supplier quality specialist in Monterrey to establish and communicate quality performance expectations to suppliers. The role involves conducting quality system assessments, monitoring supplier performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate supplier quality performance expectations and continuous improvement standards
- Conduct and coordinate quality system and process control assessments with suppliers
- Track nonconforming materials and implement corrective actions at supplier facilities
- Coach supplier representatives in quality best practices, process controls, and problem-solving methodologies
- Oversee and drive continuous improvement activities impacting assigned supplier performance
Requirements
- Engineering degree or related field
- 3-5 years supplier quality or quality systems experience
- Medical device or automotive industry background with QSR, ISO 9000, ISO 13485 knowledge
- Proficiency with DPPMs, PAPAs, and on-site audits
- Experience with SCARs and supplier quality scorecards
- Lean Six Sigma or Kizen project experience
