GL -Cash and Banking Accountant

Role Summary

The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company make business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Bookings and Backlog: review and report proper net backlog values on a monthly basis.
• Monthly reconciliations: balance sheet and P&L in accordance with US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Sox and Audit: maintain Sox compliance with Group Accounting Policies, Statutory Accounting Principles, and legal/fiscal local regulations.
• Statutory Accounts: support the annual financial statement preparation.

Requirements

• Fluent English speaking skills.
• Solid experience with bank reconciliation as General Ledger.
• Extensive Excel 2010 knowledge, including advanced functions such as Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations.
• Experience with structured ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access is valuable.
• BS or BA degree in a relevant field and 5–7 years of relevant experience.
