Job Overview

As an Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in maximizing business profitability through financial analysis, budget control, and reporting automation to support strategic decision‑making across the organization. This position works closely with operational and leadership teams to provide visibility into financial performance, cost structures, and business opportunities while supporting the financial planning processes of the plant and corporate operations. We are looking for a highly analytical and business‑oriented professional capable of transforming financial data into actionable insights that drive operational and strategic improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate monthly budgets, forecasts, and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Analyze P&L and SG&A variations, identifying deviations, cost‑saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Monitor financial performance through Actual vs Budget analysis and forecast updates.
• Design, implement, and maintain Power BI dashboards to automate financial and operational KPI reporting.
• Prepare executive‑level financial reports and present monthly results to local management and corporate leadership.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Logistics, HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure budget alignment and financial target achievement.
• Develop financial analyses that support operational and strategic business decisions.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and traceability of financial information used for reporting and decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation within finance and controlling activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, or controlling roles.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive, maquiladora, or industrial environments is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, P&L management, SG&A tracking, and budget variance analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with budgeting processes, forecasting, and Annual Operating Planning (AOP).
• Intermediate to advanced Power BI skills, including dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX functions, and reporting automation.
• Advanced Excel skills required (financial formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and basic/intermediate macros).
• Experience using industrial ERP systems such as Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• English proficiency at B2/C1 level required for communication with integral corporate teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate financial concepts effectively to non‑financial teams and operational stakeholders.
