Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in establishing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and systems during the start-up phase of the subsidiary.

2. Review and update the Employee Handbook to ensure compliance with company policies, local labour regulations, and effective implementation of procedures.

3. Manage office schedules and administrative processes, ensuring the timely submission, approval, and filing of documents.

4. Provide HR guidance and support the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and follow-up, to ensure recruitment targets and deadlines are achieved.

5. Participate in key HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, performance management, talent development, succession planning, and organisational development, while supporting the preparation of the annual HR budget.

6. Collect and process payroll-related data to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.

7. Prepare HR reports and assist in handling employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and termination cases in compliance with Mexican labour laws.

8. Lead and manage the HR team, drive team performance, and promote team development and engagement to support business growth.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Law, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources and/or Administration, preferably in multinational corporations, manufacturing companies, or engineering-related industries.

3. Strong knowledge of HR management practices and Mexican labour laws and regulations.

4. Fluent in Spanish and English, with substantial working experience in Mexico and a solid understanding of local employment practices, labour relations, and business culture.

5. Demonstrated experience in establishing HR systems, policies, procedures, and teams for start-up operations, newly established entities, or rapidly growing organisations.

6. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and effectively support business expansion and organisational development.
