Cloud Architect (AWS)

NTT DATA is seeking a Cloud Architect (AWS) to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Strong understanding of AWS‑native architectures (multi‑account strategy, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge) and the ability to codify infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt/OpenTofu with reusable modules aligned to Chofer standards.
- Deep familiarity with AWS networking (VPC design, Transit Gateway routing, Route53 DNS, secure file transfer patterns) and the ability to automate processes around provisioning, de‑provisioning and auditing of resources.
- Upscale existing Chofer onboarding, offboarding and break‑glass services into fully automated, API‑driven workflows using ServiceNow and Chofer APIs, minimizing manual approvals and human intervention.
- Hands‑on development using Python/NodeJS to build orchestration layers, API integrations and event‑driven automation with a strong focus on resiliency, idempotency and secure coding practices.
- Analyze ServiceNow/cloud support request data using SQL to identify repetitive patterns and systematically eliminate toil by building self‑service and AI‑ready automation pipelines (structured inputs/outputs, telemetry, and reusable APIs).
Qualifications
- Strong AWS expertise.
- Proficiency with Terraform/Terragrunt/OpenTofu.
- Experience with Datadog for observability (logs, metrics, traces) to enable monitoring, alerting and compliance/audit insights, including SOX traceability.
