Continuous Improvement Engineer – Juarez Chih., Mex.

How You’ll Help Us Connect the World

Supports and promotes the execution and implementation of continuous process improvement projects. Coordinates and supports Orange and Green Belts and Operations personnel of the plant in developing projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Serves as a team facilitator during the development of Kaizen events, supporting the evaluation and implementation of best practices. Follows up on the implementation and monitoring of the Continuous Improvement System.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in Continuous Process or Manufacturing Engineering Environment.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in implementing Six Sigma projects.
• VSM (Value Stream Mapping).
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma tools.
• Experience leading projects.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast‑paced environment, proactive.
• Shift availability (rotating shifts).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with the operations team for identifying opportunities to reduce variation and eliminate waste.
• Deploy Lean Manufacturing tools and best practices.
• Serve as a facilitator for the teams during Kaizen events, supporting evaluation and implementation of best practices.
• Coordinate follow‑up meetings with project owners to monitor the progress of initiatives.
• Provide support to Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning and other departments to ensure all data is properly validated prior to obtaining finance approval.
• Coordinate and support Orange and Green Belts and Operations personnel of the plant in developing projects using Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Sustain, audit and improve the site Lean Manufacturing system.
• Generate CPI project presentations and reports.
• Understand and follow the safety, health and environment administration system, its policy, standards and procedures.

• 6 Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt).
• SAP experience.
• Financial justification and validation of projects.
• Material management experience.
