Business Development Manager

Charles Taylor InsureTech

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our SaaS solutions across Mexico. This is a key role focused on expanding our market presence by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and generating sustainable revenue for CTI.

You will own the full sales cycle and act as a trusted advisor, helping clients solve real business challenges through technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities aligned with our ideal customer profile
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial engagement to contract closure (with visibility through delivery when needed)
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level decision-makers
  • Act as a consultative partner, understanding client needs and positioning solutions based on value, ROI, and business impact
  • Develop and execute account and territory plans to consistently achieve sales targets
  • Lead client presentations, proposals, and commercial negotiations
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, product, and technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the insurance market to engage in high-value conversations
  • Manage pipeline and sales activity through CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Build relationships with partners and third parties to support solution delivery

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, (ideally in SaaS, insurance)
  • 5+ years of experience working within the insurance / insuretech industry
  • Proven track record managing the full sales cycle
  • Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Consultative mindset, with the ability to translate business challenges into solutions
  • Resilient, proactive, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience using CRM tools and managing pipelines effectively
