PR & Communications Lead (Life Sciences - Remote)

We’re looking for a PR & Communications Lead (Life Sciences) to support leadership and drive client-facing PR, communications, and integrated marketing execution for U.S.-based accounts in the life sciences and health industries. This is a high-ownership, fully remote role focused on both strategy and hands-on execution across multiple accounts.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST) | Remote

What You’ll Do

· Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts under leadership supervision, ensuring consistent communication and delivery.

· Lead client calls, manage ongoing communications, and oversee execution of PR and communications deliverables.

· Own end-to-end projects, timelines, and deliverables with high autonomy and accountability.

· Build and manage targeted U.S. media lists (core responsibility).

· Develop and execute media outreach strategies, including pitching journalists and managing follow-ups.

· Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, op-eds, corporate messaging, and thought leadership content.

· Manage social media calendars and create LinkedIn-focused content aligned with communications strategy.

· Translate complex scientific and technical information into clear, compelling narratives for media and public audiences.

· Support integrated communications efforts aligned with digital marketing, email campaigns, and paid media initiatives.

· Ensure alignment between PR strategy, brand messaging, and business objectives.

· Support leadership in managing multiple accounts (approx. 17 accounts total).

· Use Canva to support basic content creation and visual execution.

· Track media coverage, outreach efforts, and client deliverables.

What We’re Looking For

· 5+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or related fields.

· Minimum 1 year of agency experience preferred, or strong in-house communications background.

· Proven experience in media relations, including building media lists and pitching journalists.

· Strong writing skills in English (press releases, corporate communications, social content).

· Experience managing multiple accounts or projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong understanding of the life sciences or healthcare industry (required) .

· Familiarity with the U.S. media landscape and communications practices.

· Ability to translate technical, scientific, or medical content into accessible messaging.

· Experience managing LinkedIn or corporate social media accounts.

· Comfortable working in a high-autonomy, remote, client-facing environment.

· Portfolio required (writing samples, social content, press coverage examples).

Preferred (plus): Investor relations exposure and experience supporting biotech, pharma, medtech, or healthcare companies.
