About the Role

The Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a critical role in managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, reconciliations, and related financial transactions. This position supports efficient financial operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Compensation: MXN $30,000 – $45,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Obtain invoice approvals from appropriate stakeholders and senior management.
• Review, code, and enter invoices into Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) accurately and timely.
• Process approved invoices and payment requests within D365.
• Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
• Maintain accurate records of planned cash disbursements and payment schedules.
• Prepare journal entries related to cash activity and bank transactions.
• Complete bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed.
• Perform month-end Accounts Payable reconciliations and related reporting.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation related to Accounts Payable, cash, and expense accounts.
• Maintain organized and accurate electronic and physical filing systems for AP documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Assist with special projects and other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, Associate degree, or equivalent education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and best practices.
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP system preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to identify issues, solve problems, and take initiative.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating across multiple time zones is preferred.
• Professional fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar) to improve productivity, research, communication, data analysis, or workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adopt emerging technologies and process-improvement tools.
