Core Responsibilities

• Category Management: Develop sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives, managing high‑risk, high‑spend supplier relationships to deliver value within global frameworks.
• Strategic Sourcing: Design and execute sourcing strategies by analyzing market trends and supplier capabilities to optimize value and reduce risk.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Establish strategic partnerships with key suppliers, driving collaboration and continuous improvement through performance reviews and development initiatives.
• Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead complex negotiations and manage the contract lifecycle to secure optimal terms, mitigate risk, and maximize business benefits.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to ensure operational resilience and continuity.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Align cross‑functional partners with procurement strategies, ensuring support for business goals and tracking progress through KPIs.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering, International Commerce degree, or equivalent, with strong experience within Procurement processes specially on Indirect Categories.
• General understanding of the supply chain within manufacturing environment, with experience participating in projects impacting the organization within Supply Chain and productivity areas.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills; APICS certification a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, SAP (Coupa a plus).
• Advanced communication skills both in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas.
