Business Analyst - Business Management (Guadalajara)

We are looking for an experienced business analyst with strong wealth management domain expertise to work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams. The role focuses on gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications across WM platforms, including advisory, brokerage, portfolio management, and client reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Wealth Management business stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct detailed requirement gathering through workshops, interviews, and analysis of existing systems and processes.
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Act as a bridge between business users and technology teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
• Support initiatives related to portfolio management, investment products, onboarding, trading, and reporting.
• Analyze data, workflows, and gaps to recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Assist QA and UAT teams with test case creation, validation, and defect triage.
• Support change management, training materials, and post‑implementation reviews.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews).

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience as a business analyst in the wealth management, asset management, or capital markets domain.
• Advisory & discretionary portfolio management experience.
• Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with general teams and senior business users.
• Experience with digital wealth platforms or client portals.
• SQL or basic data analysis skills for validation and reporting.
• Certifications such as CFA, CBA, CSPO, and PMI‑PBA are a plus.
