Senior Bilingual Accounting & Tax (Retail and E-commerce)

Responsibilities

Accounting

• Responsible for bookkeeping in Bind/Oracle system
• Preparation of different expenses reports (opex, payroll, travel expenses, and others)
• Monthly reconciliation of accounts and follow up issues
• Support in preparation of Financial Statements*
• Basic knowledge in MEXGAAP/IFRS

Taxes

- Prepare and submit Monthly Tax filings and Annual Tax Declaration.

- Implementation of process improvements and internal controls with other areas to mitigate tax risks and ensure transparency*.

-Review invoices, credit notes, REP, and contracts to ensure VAT information is accurate.

- Ensure that the necessary documentation (e.g., purchase invoices, sales invoices, importation documents) is correct for tax purposes.

- Liaising with Tax Authorities requirements

- Review of compliance with tax obligations of the specialized services company (REPSE) regarding declarations, filing notices, and validity.

- Experienced with customs process (pedimentos), integration of electronic files and familiar with tariffs and classifications*.

- Control of taxes in favor and make sure correct application

- Monthly and bimonthly compliance in social security (IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISN, etc.)*

- Transfer Pricing knowledge*

- Electronic accounting knowledge*

- Desirable being familiar with Retail and e-commerce selling*

Academic Background

- Degree in Accounting with over 4 years of experience in tax calculations, VAT refunds, tax analysis of new businesses, international treaties, among others.

-Desirable Previous experience in electronic industry, selling in retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels.

-Strong English skills (written and oral), interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with various levels of management.
