Job Description

Support by new product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition,
validation, and installation on production environment. Develop instructions and internal
procedures to ensure compliance of changes and modifications required by CN, CoC or
central entities.

Thermal Process Specialist:
• Support to develop, test and validate thermal profiles in the different thermal machines (SMT and FA lines) in conformity with the specification of the customer and the specification of the different materials of the products.
• Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and procedures, which
contribute to reducing and eliminating non-conformities and optimizing processes.
• Provide support in the reception and validation of Thermal processes according to Bosch Standards.
• Provide support to production in solving problems in the Thermal processes.
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of golden samples for the Thermal profiles:
Design, fabrication, acceptance validation, release, implementation on production process and definition of correct storage and maintenance.
• Follow implementation of DMD´s / VVT´s / and general specifications requested for VS.
• Maintain constant communication with CN colleagues to understand changes and new
requirements and communicate them to MFP group.
• Ensure participation of the group of engineers in global process meetings, sharing lessons learned.
• Identify gaps, improvement opportunities and vulnerabilities in process and provide training for engineers and technicians to solve them and implement this training and actions in a systematic way.
• Responsible for supporting quality/customer audits.
• Validate NPI establishing process parameters and production release.
• Support validation of new part number implementations and new line launches.
• Eliminate non-value added activities.
• Train technicians on process, machine configuration and process parameters.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics / Electromechanic / Mechanical.

LANGUAGE: English advanced.

SKILLS:
• Knowledge in Thermodynamics.
• Experience (3-5 years) in convection technologies and UV curing technologies.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Mechanical knowledge for warranty the correct and efficient function of the different internal devices of the thermal processes (Mechanical alignment).
• Advanced knowledge in creation of thermal profiles.
• Knowledge in software for creation of thermal profilometers (Fluke & Ebro).
• Experience (+2 years) in brands: Rehm, Ceracon, Mass, SMT.
• Advanced knowledge in Robotics and process automation.
• Knowledge in Control methods (PID).
• Knowledge in Traceability system (MES).
• Knowledge in pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience (3-5 years) as mechanical process or maintenance.
• PLC programming is a plus: TwinCAT.
• Design CAD: SolidWorks or other mechanical design software.
• Deep knowledge in MSA and SPC.
• Basic knowledge in vision systems and scanners (Keyence, Cognex, Data Logic).
• Design electromechanical systems for automation or control of manufacturing equipment.
