Payroll Advanced Specialist (Temporary 6- Month Position)

In this role you will beresponsible for performing advanced payroll functions and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly and biweekly payroll cycles. Reviews timekeeping, attendance, and payroll reconciliation records to validate data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with local Human Resources and management teams to resolve issues.

Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve: :

• Manage and process weekly and biweekly payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Autoliv policies, legal requirements, and established payroll deadlines.

• Maintain and validate timekeeping and payroll systems (Kronos and TRESS), including employee hires, changes, terminations, labor distribution, reconciliations, and payroll-related data integrity.

• Administer statutory payroll obligations, including Social Security, Infonavit, Fonacot, taxes, employee benefits, retroactive payments, and termination calculations.

• Prepare payroll reports, audits, reconciliations, and compliance documentation while supporting internal and external audits, statutory reviews, and financial reporting requirements.

• Provide payroll and timekeeping support to HR, Finance, and site leadership, resolving employee inquiries, promoting best practices, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll operations across assigned locations.

If you have/are:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll administration, timekeeping, or payroll operations within a corporate or manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience with payroll and timekeeping systems, including RH7, TRESS, Kronos, or similar HRIS/payroll platforms.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, payroll taxes, statutory deductions, and labor law compliance requirements.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage confidential employee data and meet critical payroll deadlines.
