Product design engineer

About the role

The role supports the development of high‑quality, customer‑focused design solutions. This position plays a key role in delivering accurate and timely engineering designs that meet customer specifications, directly contributing to operational excellence through On‑Time Delivery (OTD) and First Pass Yield (FPY). This is an excellent opportunity for an entry‑level professional to build technical expertise while making a tangible impact on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and technical documentation based on customer requirements and engineering standards.
• Support event‑to‑order (ETO) processes.
• Ensure designs are completed on time, aligned with project schedules and delivery commitments.
• Create special/custom designs with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain) to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.
• Review and validate designs to minimize errors and support high First Pass Yield (FPY).
• Contribute to On‑Time Delivery (OTD) targets through efficient execution and prioritization.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and productivity.
• Maintain proper documentation in compliance with company standards and customer specifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Creo Parametric, AutoCAD).

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC systems.
• Basic programming knowledge.
• Understanding of electrical schematics.
