Client Partner – BFSI Account Lead

We are looking for a seasoned Client Partner to lead and grow a strategic BFSI account—someone who doesn't just manage relationships but truly owns them.
In this role, you become the trusted face of Impetus for the client—building deep, lasting relationships while continuously uncovering new opportunities for growth. It's a leadership role where you're not just driving revenue—you're shaping a partnership, unlocking growth, and delivering meaningful business impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic account plan and drive 20% YOY revenue growth within assigned account(s), ensuring revenue and gross margin targets are met or exceeded.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all matters related to assigned customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Lead and/or help develop industry-specific best practices to benefit other Impetus customers in the same vertical.
- Leverage executive-level relationships to strengthen the company's presence and strategically utilize team resources for impactful client engagement.
- Present Impetus' capabilities, offerings, and solutions within the account(s) to expand its footprint.
- Support and facilitate delivery teams to ensure client success; collaborate closely with client teams, pre‑sales engineering, and delivery teams to build winning proposals and establish strong client development.
- Create, leverage, and manage ABM plans for organic growth and brand visibility within assigned account(s).
- Leverage the ecosystem of cloud and data partners to find new opportunities for growth.
- Represent the customer's needs and interests within Impetus.
- Foster a positive team culture by building enthusiasm, collaboration, and support within and outside quarterly reviews with Client and Impetus leadership.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise software or consulting sales, with at least 7 years focused on closing large, complex enterprise deals and building strong senior executive relationships to drive revenue growth and pipeline development.
- Proven experience in client relationship management and strategic account management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to influence and negotiate at executive levels.
- Ability to collaborate globally and align effectively across sales, delivery, marketing, and product teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Pay Range
This role offers a very competitive base salary, and an additional bonus dependent on achievement of targets by the role-holder as well as the organization. We offer a competitive salary consistent with industry standards.
