Senior Dynatrace Engineer (Veracruz)

Role DescriptionThis full-time Senior Dynatrace Engineer role at TEIPPO is a hybrid position based in Mexico City, Mexico, with flexibility for part‑time work from home.

Responsibilities

  • Configure dashboards, alerts, and custom metrics in Dynatrace.
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks, optimize application behavior, and improve end‑user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate Dynatrace into CI/CD pipelines and operational processes.
  • Create technical documentation and establish monitoring best practices.
  • Mentor colleagues on effective use of Dynatrace tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Dynatrace configuration, dashboard creation, alerting, and troubleshooting for complex, distributed applications.
  • Hands‑on experience with application performance monitoring (APM), observability, and logging tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of modern architectures such as microservices, containers (Docker), and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes or OpenShift).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating monitoring solutions into cloud‑native environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Java) to automate monitoring tasks and integrations.
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend actionable optimizations for applications and infrastructure.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, translating technical findings into clear, non‑technical language for stakeholders.
  • Strong documentation skills to produce runbooks, standards, and guidelines for monitoring and incident response.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in a senior, lead, or subject‑matter expert role focused on APM or observability in enterprise environments.
  • Professional certifications related to Dynatrace, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Mexico City, with reliable connectivity for remote collaboration.
