Position: Salesforce Support Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Support Engineer to provide application support, user assistance, and technical expertise across the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong Salesforce development and administration skills, along with a customer-focused approach to supporting business users and resolving technical issues.

This role requires a blend of support, administration, and development capabilities to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Salesforce applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 production support for Salesforce users and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, service requests, and application issues within defined SLAs.
• Support user onboarding, access management, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security configurations.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows.
• Analyze user requirements and implement system enhancements.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term solutions for recurring issues.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, workflows, and automation processes.
• Support release management, testing, deployments, and post-release validation activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, developers, and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and best practices.
• Experience with:
• Salesforce Administration
• Apex Development
• Lightning Experience
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flows
• SOQL/SOSL
• Reports and Dashboards
• User Security and Access Management
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting production applications and resolving user issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in application support or production support environments.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Salesforce certifications such as:
• Salesforce Administrator
• Platform Developer I
• Advanced Administrator (preferred)
