Mission:

Achieve customer satisfaction through continuous improvement of the plant's production processes and adherence to the quality system, reducing waste to a minimum, through leadership in the work team and with members of other departments. Coordinate efforts to achieve a quality product in accordance with our customers' specifications, meeting their expectations, promoting self-control in the processes, complying with the quality systems established by Antolín Saltillo.

Responsibilities:

• Documenta, administra e implementa cambios de ingeniería.
• Realiza la factibilidad del cambio solicitado y define el nivel de riesgo con el soporte del equipo
• Coordina con el área comercial la cotización del cambio (provee la información necesaria)
• Define en conjunto con el departamento de lógistica si se generará material obsoleto al momento de implementar el cambio
• Desarrolla la documentación específica de cada cliente para solicitar el cambio de ingeniería
• Administra y valida la actualización de toda la documentación inherente al cambio por parte de todos los departamentos
• Asegura la validación de los cambios a través de la cualificación y capacidad del proceso
• Ejecuta estudios de capacidad en caso de que el cambio demande la realización del mismo
• Asegura el envío y aprobación de primeras muestras al cliente final para la aprobación del cambio
• Gestiona los cambios de locación en conjunto con la compañia de origen o destino
• Participa en los cambios de proveedores dirigidos por compras y asegura que se ejecute el proceso de gestión de cambios interno.
• Responsable de dar respuesta a las acciones correctivas que queden dentro de sus funciones de trabajo.
• Mantiene los niveles de Ingenieria actualizados de los programas asignados, para producto terminado, WIP y componentes comprados. en la Lista Maestra y ZPN1 en SAP).
• Coordina el insource de moldes cuando aplique el caso
• Da seguimiento a la vida útil de los moldes y gestiona con el área comercial o con el cliente el refurbish / reemplazo del herramental cuando aplique
• Gestiona la introducción de nuevos moldes a través del proceso de cambio de ingeniería

What we are looking for:

• Industrial engineer similar or related career.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Quality Engineer in the Automotive Industry.
• At least 1 year of experience with BMW/ Honda/FORD/Nissan
• AMEF knowledge
• SAP
• 8D Problem Solving
• Immediate response to emerging situations in Engineering Area.
• Knowledge on assembly, injection and pressing processes.
• Molding Experience
• Conversational English.
