Mexico It Business Relationship Manager (San Juan del Río)

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Mexico IT Business Relationship Manager.

Job Summary

Serves as the primary point of contact for IT services and strategic projects in Mexico, working in partnership with other BRMs in Mobility, Aerospace and Electrical.

Identifies opportunities and projects, builds consensus across the customer base and IT, and develops business cases to secure funding.

Ensures scope of projects are well‑defined for transition to delivery Value Chains and that all stakeholders are engaged, projects are completed and return on investment is realized.

Reviews escalated issues for scope and clarity, vetting, documenting and routing through the appropriate support mechanisms.

Delivers medium and large‑sized initiatives leveraging the Value Chains and ensures effective support for existing systems/processes.

Focuses on significant projects to meet strategic business objectives, acting as DGC members and aligning with business in Mexico.

Demonstrates financial acumen through CAR preparation, budget management and profit planning, and performs vendor management, contract negotiations and reviews.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure IT alignment with customer strategy as a customer advocate.
• Ensure customer alignment with IT strategy and guiding principles.
• Eliminate projects that are not aligned with the IT strategy, have weak business benefits or duplicate existing enterprise solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with and support architecture standards, partnering with the architecture team when no standard exists.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and introduce innovation to customers.
• Influence IT structures that support customers—Value Chains, development, production support.

Qualifications

• Education level required: Degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience: 10years of IT application or project management experience.
• Technical knowledge: advanced understanding of key Eaton applications or services.
• Should be an SME in one or more technologies and have Lean experience preferred.
• Industry experience/awareness preferred.

Skills

• Strong communication and storytelling abilities.
• Fluent in Spanish.
