Job Title: Java L2 / L3 Support Engineer

Experience: 4 – 10 Years

Skills: Java, SQL, Unix/Linux

Location: Remote (Weekly once needs to be at nearest Mexico office, Guadalajara or Mexico City)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a proactive approach throughout the day, with the ability to analyze, debug, and resolve issues.
• Develop and enhance the SRE strategy to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of the plant.
• Efficiently escalate issues to the development team, raise incidents, manage impact, and communicate with users and stakeholders.
• Automate manual processes to improve efficiency.
• Escalate issues to management on both support and development sides, raise problem tickets, and collaborate with development teams to address issues and drive transformations.
• Possess a solid understanding of technical concepts and be capable of writing code when necessary.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and code snippets to resolve issues and share them with the team.

Skills Required :

• Level L2, L3 Application Support experience, preferably in the 6-10 years range.
• Technical Skills: Unix/Linux, any object-oriented programming experience (Java), with a good understanding of databases.
• Should have strong communication skills
• Should be strong in Unix commands.
• Should be comfortable in scripting ( Bash or python)
• Should be hands on with Sql commands.
• Should have 5+ years of Industry experience
• Should have minimum 1 year of Investment banking domain experience.
• Should have proactive approach and show leadership skills.
