Electrical Test Technician (Saltillo)

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in Saltillo, Coahuila, México.

Summary (About this Position)

Electrical Technician performing test in our Validation Test Laboratory.

Your Role (i.e. Key Job Responsibilities)

• Participate in troubleshooting
• Implement continuous improvement projects
• Maintain system documentation
• Perform standard engineering test measurements according to standards.
• Prepare test samples according to methods and/or standards.
• Record test data
• Maintain housekeeping/safety standards
• Prepare and analyze test reports documenting the sample preparation, test methods, equipment, and conditions.
• Test samples disposal as required.

Your Required Background (i.e. Must Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or similar
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical concepts
• Interpretation of electrical and mechanical drawings
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
• Results-orientation and execution characteristics
• Analytical thinking
• Knowledge using bench test equipment (DMMs, Calipers, Micro ohmmeter, power supplies, DAQ, etc.)
• Intermediate level of English (reading and writing).

Your Preferred Background (i.e. Nice to Haves)

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechatronic engineering or similar
• Experience in electrical measurements in a Laboratory environment
• 1+ years’ experience in automotive industry validation laboratory environment
• Familiarity with Automotive Products Validation Process and Terms.
