Manufacturing Engineering Sr Supervisor

We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor , who will be responsible for developing and implementing optimal and efficient manufacturing processes, as well as work methods aligned with product specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of processes, methods, and tools to drive cost reduction, improve quality, and increase operational efficiency.
• Maintain the Visual Factory system up to date.
• Develop and implement electromechanical integrations, including poka-yoke systems, measurement systems, and integrated data collection solutions to support decision-making.
• Coordinate the launch of new and/or revised products, including goal setting, personnel training, and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional value stream teams to ensure proper implementation of safety initiatives and compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Collect and analyze process data to support decision-making, including production capacity calculations, labor requirements, materials, costs, and production program evaluations for future forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001:2015 quality management system procedures.
• Ensure that personnel under supervision develop the necessary competencies to guarantee product quality and on-time delivery.
• Authorize activities within the department to ensure product quality and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Promote a strong safety culture and actively participate in initiatives aimed at improving workplace conditions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, managing multiple projects as a leader, ensuring on-time and successful execution.
• Proficiency in engineering tools and software such as AutoCAD, Minitab, Factory Visual, and Oracle.
• Knowledge of PLC programming and electromechanical installations.
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Understanding of quality systems and problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with tools such as FMEA and process flow diagrams.
• Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
• Technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, and refrigeration.
• Experience with ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 28000, 45001) and security standards such as C-TPAT/OEA.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
• Advanced English level.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification (preferred).
