Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, document, and optimize manufacturing processes to meet production and quality targets.
• Analyze process performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support new product introductions, tooling development, and process validation activities (PPAP, APQP).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Production to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Monitor key process indicators and drive actions to achieve operational excellence.
• Problem resolution using quality tools (e.g., 5 Why's, A3, etc.) and close activities.
• Problem analysis through SPC on process.
• Responsible for industrial engineering activities: time and motion studies, capacity analysis, line balancing, documentation creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Productive Process (Desirable).
• Automotive industry experience as a process engineer (at least 2 years necessary).
• Core tools and lean tools knowledge.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949.
• SAP knowledge for BOM, routers, costing, material creation and inventories.
• Excellent organizational and self‑directed planning skills.
