On a daily basis, you will oversee the performance of customs brokers and ensure the smooth execution of trade and customs activities within the local unit. This includes maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations.The work model for the role is: On siteThis role supports the Smart Buildings NEMA Enclosures factory in Ramos Arizpe.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the main point of contact for customs brokers, providing clarification on topics such as product valuation and classificationAudit customs brokers to ensure the accuracy of customs entries, invoicing, and document archivingManage required documentation and online systems to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant import/export operationsMaintain and share up-to-date knowledge of import/export regulations, including tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions, with relevant stakeholdersQualifications:3+ years of experience in import/export operations and customs regulationsExperience with Annex 24 and 30Knowledge of CIVA, IMMEX, PROSEC, and USMCA (TMEC)Experience in inventory reconciliation processesProficiency in SAP and advanced ExcelAdvanced English and Spanish skills (written and verbal)Experience in process improvement using tools such as Power BI, Excel macros, etc., is a plusExperience applying AI tools in daily work is a plusBachelor’s degree in International Business, Commerce, or a related fieldWe also offer our employees the following benefits:Performance BonusSaving fundPaid parental leaveLife insuranceRetirement planHealth and dental insuranceWellbeing programFlex daysEmployee Assistance Program (PAE)Access to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)Building a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
