Position Overview

Operational support working closely with TP/G4 Front Office Buyers. Always working within Procurement Guidelines procedures to ensure the best competitive options for the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Support buyers with Requisitions, RfQs, Quote comparisons, contract creation for new parts, ANP or Raw Material updates, documentation in relevant systems and ad hoc requests.
• Create standard and ad hoc reports and presentations.
• Support internal and external customers, correspondence, deadline tracking and monitoring for the procurement department.
• Support identification and realization of continuous improvement measures.
• Support on supplier code creation and Supplier Portal registration.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience/knowledge of automotive industry with preference in Purchasing area.
• Interpretation and understanding of technical drawings/specs.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Access, etc).
• Experience working with international teams and cross-functional teams is preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in purchasing processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply and Logistics Management or Business Administration; OR an associate’s degree with 1 year of related experience.
