Senior business planning manager (Monterrey)

Overview

At Arcelor Mittal's Integral Strategy Area, we're looking for a Strategy & Planning, based at our Monterrey's office to support the strategy team of Arcelor Mittal Mexico, USA and Canada. The strategy & planning manager will be tasked with assessing organizational performance, developing achievable goals and implementing processes that improve organizational effectiveness and build a sustainable competitive advantage. You should be familiar with business operations and demonstrate excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out research, analysis and monitoring of the market, which reveals important data for the company to establish objectives and strategies.
• Provide national and regional monitoring of key companies in the steel industry.
• Support and guide senior management decision‑making processes to detect company failures and opportunities presented by the market. Align both bridges to build a win‑win relationship between brand and market.
• Support energy management analysis, covering different aspects of such risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economy, finance, engineering or related fields. MBA preferred.
• Research experience, analytical mind and outstanding presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent leadership skills and familiarity with business operations.

• MS Office (Excel, SAP, Power BI)
