Job Responsibilities

JOB RESPONSABILITIES

• Primary care and immediate response in first aid, initial assessment of incidents or ailments, patient stabilization, transfer decision (hospital/IMSS) - does not replace hospital care — only stabilizes the patient.

• Occupational health surveillance, medical examinations: Pre-employment (if applicable), Periodic (according to risk), return to work.

• Monitoring of general illnesses that impact work, occupational diseases.

• Risk prevention (STPS code), identification of health risks.

• Evaluation of workplace conditions: ergonomics, lighting, work-related stress, control recommendations.

• Incident and accident management: accident registration, cause investigation, trend analysis.

• Health and wellness programs such as health campaigns, vaccinations, basic checkups, prevention (diabetes, hypertension).

• Member of the Safety and Hygiene Committee: evaluating workstations, ergonomics, and recommendations.

• Training: first aid (brigades), use of first aid kits, emergency response. • Regulatory compliance and support with applicable regulations

• Support during STPS audits

• Occupational health documentation

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Medicine with relevant experience in occupational health

• Solid knowledge of general medicine and occupational health practices, with the ability to apply current regulations and standard

• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion meaning
