Construction Estimator - Masonry

We are looking for an Estimator with experience in Masonry , take-off, and calculations for civil projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in AutoCAD and 2+ years in residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects in the US.

Technical Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Advanced English Knowledge: upper intermediate, advanced or proficient

• Strong and verifiable engineering/architectural background and experience

• Experience working with Stones, Stucco and CMU.

• Knowledge in Software tools: such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Countfire, etc.

• Ability to perform drafting, layout work, and straightforward calculations, take-offs, budgets relative to all construction details

• Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches

• Perform component-based material take-offs from prepared shop drawings

Soft Skills Required:

• Professionalism: Professional attitude and ethical behavior

• Communication: Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to communicate and convey information between expert teams

• Organization skills and attention to detail

• Prioritization skills: Ability to identify, establish, and assign priorities

• Ability to comply when necessary; following orders or specific instructions if needed

Desirable Knowledge & Skills:

• PlanSwift knowledge or similar softwares.

• Manage the day-to-day workflow and output of the department, prioritizing and assigning projects

• Calculate project time & budget estimates based on materials and resources required; maintain a system for recurring or standard projects

• Ensure finished projects align with customer and project requirements

• Perform any other job-related duties as required

• Google Suite: Google Drive, Corporate Gmail, Docs, Sheets

• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel

• Hubstaff: Web App, Desktop App and Hubstaff Tasks

• Whatsapp: Whatsapp Groups

• Design tools: AutoCAD, PDF Editor
