The Role

We're looking for a Trade Marketing Lead to build our Trade Marketing function from the ground up.

This isn't a traditional Trade Marketing role.

We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves being in the field, creates solutions where processes don't exist, and takes full ownership of execution across Modern Trade.

You'll partner closely with Key Account Managers, Marketing, agencies, retailers, and internal stakeholders to drive flawless execution, improve sell-out, win additional display opportunities, and elevate the customer experience at the point of sale.

Responsibilities

Trade Marketing Execution

Develop and execute activation plans across Modern Trade.

Own in-store execution, POP materials, displays, sampling, and promotional initiatives.

Ensure excellence in planogram, pricing, assortment, and shelf execution.

Agency & Field Management

Lead external merchandising and sampling agencies.

Monitor field execution and productivity.

Build strong relationships with store managers and retail teams.

Category & Commercial Excellence

Support category reviews and shelf strategy.

Analyze sell-out performance and execution KPIs.

Identify opportunities to improve commercial performance.

Sales Capability

Develop training programs for sales teams, promoters, and retail partners.

Create sales support materials and product education programs.

Continuous Improvement

Build Trade Marketing processes from scratch.

Challenge the status quo.

Drive execution with speed, ownership, and accountability.

Requirements

Experience

• 4–8 years in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Category Management or Commercial Excellence within FMCG/CPG.
• Experience in Modern Trade.
• Experience managing external merchandising or sampling agencies.
• Experience executing in-store activation programs.
• Experience training sales teams is highly desirable.
• CPFR or Demand Planning experience is a plus.

This position is based at:

Av. México 3040, Juan Manuel, 44680 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (on-site).

This role offers an attractive commission plan along with above-market benefits.
