The Sr. Plant Controller will be responsible for leading the overall finance function for two manufacturing operations in Silao, Guanajuato. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the full finance function for two automotive manufacturing plants in Silao.
• Oversee costing, inventory, accounting, treasury, and finance activities.
• Lead monthly closing, financial reporting, and forecasting activities.
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing finance analysis.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Payroll, and Import/Export finance activities.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate financial policies.
• Partner closely with Plant Management to support operational and strategic decision‑making.
• Provide financial visibility and performance analysis to leadership.
• Lead and develop the local finance team.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Maintain strong financial controls across plant operations.

Perfil buscado

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within automotive manufacturing environments, with solid exposure to plant finance operations and cost accounting.

Calificaciones requeridas

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Plant Controller within manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing, inventory management, and financial analysis.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience leading finance teams within operational environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• Ability to work effectively within matrix organizations and multicultural environments.
• Hands‑on leadership style with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• High level of business partnership with plant operations.

Calificaciones preferidas

• ERP system experience such as SAP, QAD, or Plex.
• Experience working with multinational companies.
• Strong operational mindset and ability to work in fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
