How you will contribute

You will:

• Define requirements for analysis in a given business area and perform detailed analysis and identify trends defined in the requirements
• Identify patterns and help the business react to changing business conditions
• Perform root-cause analysis and interpret data
• Work with large amounts of data such as facts, figures, and mathematical formulas and undertake analytical activities and deliver analysis outputs in accordance with customer needs and conforming to established standards
• Understand and be involved with aspects of the data science process
• As the investigator on the data science team, you will apply your knowledge of languages and pull data out of SQL databases, using Tableau/Power BI type tools, and producing basic data visualizations and reporting dashboards

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL, R, Python, SAS software, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, Google AdWords, statistical software

• Develop key performance indicators and create visualizations of the data
• Utilize business intelligence and analytics tool

Position Details

Sales Data Analyst

Studies historical metrics, consumer behavior, and market trends to optimize revenue and increase sales productivity. They bridge the gap between data science and sales by generating actionable insights, building automated dashboards, and crafting forecasts that drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze internal and external sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for growth.
• Sales Forecasting: Utilize historical data to accurately project future revenue, assess potential demand, and prepare for different sales cycles.
• Metric Tracking: Monitor KPIs and sales quotas to evaluate the overall health of the sales pipeline and individual representative performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Sales, Trade marketing, marketing, Sales finance, and product teams to translate data insights into practical business strategies.

Essential Qualifications

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet software (Excel), database querying (SQL or GCP), and data visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).

Customer Sales Data Portals Knowledge

• Familiarity with customer sales portals or platforms (e.g., Retail Link, Conzoomer, Scintilla, Circana, etc) to extract and manipulate sales records.

Communication

• Strong presentation and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to convey complex quantitative data to non-technical stakeholders.

Lunes a viernes full time. No relocation support available.
