Senior Accounts Payable Analyst

Queretaro, Mexico.

This role will focus on the America’s region geographies invoice processing, while collaborating across various teams.

Work you’ll do /Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices for completeness, accuracy, and proper approval.
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receive documents, or support records as applicable.
• Validate coding, cost centers, and tax treatment.
• Research and resolve invoice variances, duplicates, and exceptions.
• Communicate with business teams to address payment and document issues.
• Support month-end close, accruals, and reports as needed.
• Respond to customer queries from team mailbox / perform extensive customer service.
• Collaborate on special projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Create and update process documents periodically.
• Create and maintain accurate and timely deliverables.
• Collaborate with participating countries, geographies, and/or member firms, other GFS business areas, and other support organizations to ensure end-to-end coordination.
• Proactively identify data gaps and develop solutions, mitigate risks, and highlight areas of opportunity to streamline and automate.
• Other tasks assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• Completion of course of study/Egresado in any pertinent field or industry.
• Advanced English level.
• Experience with the core Microsoft Office packages is essential.
• Ability to organize data and apply business contexts to improve processes or operations, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
• Detail oriented with strong problem-solving, analytic, communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Communicate verbally and in writing in a clear, professional, and concise manner with colleagues in various roles and areas of the organization.
• Flexible and patient, swiftly demonstrate command of new ideas, effective on concurrent projects, works independently and is also effective as a member of a team.
• Experience navigating through complex organizations with strong influencing skills to drive initiatives through to their successful conclusion.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks with leadership and business process teams.
• Experience working across cultures and countries and a working knowledge of communication/engagement styles.
• Highly motivated and organized.
• Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the Queretaro Office.

• Experience in SAP.
