Manufacturing Facility Manager (Guadalajara)

The client is a global Tier 1 in the automotive industry and is looking for a Plant manager for their biggest site in Jalisco, Mexico.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all plant operations (production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, HSE, engineering) ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute the plant’s strategic plan consistent with group objectives, with a focus on improving productivity, waste reduction, and cost competitiveness.
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean/TPM methodologies and performance indicators (OEE, scrap rate, delivery performance, quality).
- Oversee technical activities related to plastic parts manufacturing, ensuring robust process control, tooling management, and industrialization of new products.
- Ensure financial control of the site, manage budgets, optimize operating costs, and coordinate industrial investments.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree with solid knowledge of industrial processes linked to the automotive sector.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in production or plant management within an automotive company, preferably plastics manufacturing environment (injection, painting, or assembly lines).
- Proven record in managing large teams and driving industrial performance in a multinational setting.
- Excellent command of English and spanish.
