Process Engineer

Job Summary

Process Engineer based in Flex north campus responsible for improving manufacturing processes focused on cost, quality, and delivery, supporting overall production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Understand manufacturing processes, technologies, and products.
• Define, implement, and optimize processes for manufacturability.
• Identify root causes of process failures and implement solutions.
• Support daily production activities and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and control process parameters for consistency and reliability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (cycle time, yield, productivity).
• Support equipment selection, implementation, and validation.
• Manage engineering changes (ECOs).
• Develop and maintain process documentation.
• Collaborate with production on new process implementation and transfers.
• Provide training to production personnel.
• Support equipment maintenance as needed.
• Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree.
• Advanced English.
• Knowledge of automation.
• Expertise in process definition (NPI to mass production).
• KPI management.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, DFA, and QCP (Quality Control Plan).
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with Lean manufacturing tools (poka-yoke, 5S, Kanban, SMED, 8D).
• Experience with SolidWorks or mechanical design tools.
